o matter what your level of clinical experience, there will always be some patients that just don’t respond to your care the way you would expect. As such, Missouri Brain & Spine provides personalized initial and/or second opinions for those patients who have not responded, or have become refractory to, traditional forms of care while allowing you, the referring physician, to maintain control of patient management.
An in-house study found that Missouri Brain & Spine changed the working diagnosis in 28% of cases, and modified treatment plans in 77% of cases.
Our unique program allows the referring physician to attend the referred patient’s Independent Neurological (INE) Evaluation and/or advanced diagnostic testing procedure. We believe that this co-management relationship allows for increased physician awareness regarding the various evaluation and management methodologies of brain-based disorders.
